Edis, one of the biggest names on the Turkish pop scene, has added Sofia to his European tour. He plays Hall 3 of the NDK on November 12, organised by Fest Team, as part of a tour that runs through the UK and Europe.
Edis Gorgulu was born in London and raised in Izmir, and broke through on the music scene with the single „Benim Ol“ in 2014, which climbed high on the Turkish charts. Songs like „Roman“, „Yalan“, „Çok Çok“ and „Bana Ne“ followed, establishing him as one of the most-streamed Turkish pop artists among younger audiences. Alongside music, he also has an acting career with roles in Turkish series and films.
After a break, Edis returned with the single „Martılar“, which became one of the most-streamed Turkish pop hits on Spotify, while his „Arıyorum“ racked up over 130 million YouTube views in just five months. On stage he brings a modern pop sound with melodies the Turkish audience knows by heart, and demand for his concerts regularly outgrows the format of a single show.
The concert is on Thursday, November 12, in Hall 3 of the NDK in Sofia. Tickets start at 30 euros and are on sale through the Ticket Station network. For the Macedonian audience, especially the many listeners of Turkish pop, Sofia is just a few hours' drive away.
