Aries

Aries will today be in a position where an apology is owed for something small, and will deliver it in the first five seconds, with no preamble. The other side will not even register it as an apology. With Aries, the fast admission reads as something else - it is not weakness, it is the only way it comes naturally.

Taurus

Taurus will sit down today with someone close and hear that something they have been doing for years has been bothering them. The first thought will be that this could have been said earlier. It could have - but the person who waited two years to say it had already calculated the value of the relationship before opening their mouth.

Gemini

Gemini will today refuse to finish the story they started, mid-table, because they will see nobody is holding on. That does not happen with them. A Friday on which you stopped by yourself, without anyone interrupting, tells you more about your ear than every evening you talked to the end.

Cancer

Cancer will today be asked something technical - a code, a document, how something is done - and will answer accurately, briefly, without a single question about how the person is. It will feel strange to them about themselves around midday.

Leo

Leo will today be in a room where somebody is openly meeting their eye and waiting for a reaction, and Leo will look straight through them. Not deliberately; there is simply nothing there today. Do not try to fix it this evening - the person who seeks an audience every day is sometimes allowed to be the one sitting in the hall.

Virgo

Virgo will today ask for help with something she can finish alone, simply because two people will be faster. It will take her about a minute to formulate that question. A job done in half the time needs no justification to anyone, least of all to you.

Libra

Libra will today lose interest in something mid-process and leave it exactly where it is. No final attempt, no finishing it for the sake of order. By evening they will check twice whether that is all right, and both times the answer will be the same.

Scorpio

Scorpio will today ask directly about something they usually circle around - about money, about intent, about what the person actually wants. The answer will come immediately. Hours spent reading between the lines are worth about three questions asked out loud, and you come back from those with a more accurate picture.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius will today be somewhere nobody knows them, and it will feel better than expected. No story to tell, nobody recognising them. There is a difference between being loved and being unknown - Friday is a good place to see which of the two gives you more air.

Capricorn

Capricorn will today change the plan at the last moment and will not tell anyone in advance. This is almost unheard of from them. Do not count how many people notice - a plan you keep only to remain the person who keeps plans stopped serving even you a long time ago.

Aquarius will today be the one to first name the uncomfortable thing at a table where everyone is manoeuvring. Two will resist, the third will agree out loud. From there the conversation will go differently and nobody will come back to who started it.

Pisces

Pisces will today go back to someone they thought the matter was closed with and send something short, expecting nothing. The reply will not come the same day. That is not a sign - people open messages when they get to them, and a morning spent predicting reactions is the only thing you will certainly lose.
