Redman, one of the most recognisable names in American hip-hop, is coming to Sofia on May 14, 2026. The concert will take place at JOY Station, one of the club venues in the Bulgarian capital, as part of his European tour.
Reginald Noble, who performs as Redman, broke through in the early nineties as part of the EPMD camp and Def Squad alongside Keith Murray. The global breakthrough came in 1992 with the debut album Whut? Thee Album, which went platinum and made him part of the generation that defined the New Jersey style of hip-hop. His collaborations with Method Man from Wu-Tang Clan on Blackout! and its sequel Blackout! 2 are among the most important hip-hop projects of the 2000s, along with the hits Da Rockwilder, How High and Whateva Man.
Redman's live sets are known for their energy and crowd interaction - he is one of the rare rappers from that generation who still brings real stage presence and spontaneity. The setlist usually covers the biggest classics from his solo catalogue, together with the Method Man collaborations. JOY Station is a club with a capacity of roughly 1,500 in the northern part of Sofia.
Tickets are available through ticketstation.bg and eventim.bg starting at 80 leva. The show starts in the evening on Thursday, May 14, 2026. For Macedonian fans of classic American hip-hop, this is one of the better options in the neighbourhood right now.
