Aries

Today Aries will call their grandfather for no reason at all and hear the same army story for the third time. They won't cut him off with "I know, I know". Somewhere in the middle they'll notice a detail they missed the previous two times - and realise grandpa isn't telling it for himself, but so that someone will remember it.

Taurus

Today Taurus will take out the rubbish without waiting for their turn. They'll go down with two bags, and the neighbour from the first floor will ask them to take hers too. They won't say no. On the way back they'll find out who has been parking in their spot for months, and decide that's a topic for another day.

Gemini

Today in a meeting Gemini will hold back a joke that sits on the tip of their tongue for a full five minutes. Not out of embarrassment, but because they notice someone else is finally getting a word in. They'll send the joke later, in a message, to one person. It will land better than it would have in front of everyone.

Cancer

Today Cancer will go to the cinema alone, to a six o'clock showing. They'll buy popcorn just for themselves and sit right in the middle, without asking anyone whether that suits them. The cinema will be almost empty, and they'll take the film in more fully than ever in company.

Leo

Today Leo will put on the jacket their mother has been mentioning since last week. They won't admit they're cold - they'll just zip it up to the chin as soon as they leave the building. When she asks whether they wore it, they'll answer "well, obviously", as if it had been their idea.

Virgo

Today Virgo will find an old notebook from secondary school, buried in a box in the attic. On the last page there'll be a list: what to achieve by thirty. Half the items will be done, without her ever counting. The other half will no longer mean anything to her - and that will be the most interesting part of the list.

Libra

Today Libra will sit alone on a café terrace, under the blanket they started handing out once it turned cold. For half an hour she'll watch the street without taking her phone out of her bag. Whether that's rest or running away from something, she'll decide some other day.

Scorpio

Today Scorpio will ask a colleague for help with a task she could finish perfectly well on her own. Just to see how he would start it. The colleague will be surprised, take it seriously and suggest something she wouldn't have thought of. Scorpio will admit that out loud, which will surprise him even more.

Sagittarius

Today Sagittarius will sit down in the same barber's chair and say just "same as last time". The barber will remember exactly how it was.

Pisces

Today Pisces will call their mobile operator with the last three bills open in front of them. They'll wait on hold, get transferred twice and not hang up. In the end they'll win a discount of a few hundred denars a month, and count it out loud for the rest of the evening.
