Aries

Today Aries will listen to a four-minute voice message all the way through, at normal speed, without switching to double. Somewhere in the middle they'll realise the person isn't asking for advice, they just want someone to hear them. Aries will reply with one sentence - and it will be enough.

Taurus

Today Taurus will empty the box of cables kept "just in case" - down to the last one. Chargers for phones long gone, a cable with no other end, an adapter nobody knows the origin of. Not a single one will be kept. The case they were being kept for won't come, and if it does, Taurus will manage without them.

Gemini

Today Gemini will go shopping without a list and come back with only what they went out for. No second bag, no "while I'm here". On the way home they'll wonder whether this is maturity or just the tiredness of the week. They won't go looking for the answer.

Cancer

Cancer should get outside before noon today, even with nowhere to go. A walk to the end of the neighbourhood, a bench in the park, a coffee standing up. A Saturday spent at home will feel longer than it is, and the September sun won't wait for them until next weekend.

Leo

Today Leo will go somewhere they usually dress up for - in old jeans and the jumper they wear at home. Nobody will notice. That will surprise Leo more than if everyone had.

Virgo

Today Virgo will leave the dishes from the guests until tomorrow morning. They'll look at them twice from the sofa and twice stay sitting. The night will pass without disaster, and in the morning they'll wash them in fifteen minutes, with coffee and without a shred of guilt.

Libra

Today Libra will return something to a shop. With the receipt, within the deadline, without inventing that it was a gift or that the colour doesn't suit. The shop assistant will refund the money without a single question, and Libra will use it to buy what they really wanted back then but left on the shelf.

Scorpio

Today Scorpio will leave their phone unlocked on the table and walk to the kitchen. They won't turn around to check whether anyone is looking at it.

Sagittarius

Today Sagittarius will finally ask the neighbour their name. After years of hellos in the lift and nods in the car park, it will be awkward for about five seconds. Then they'll find out the neighbour didn't know their name either and had been working up to asking for months.

Capricorn

Today Capricorn will spend money on something just for themselves and won't justify it. Not on something useful, not on something that will pay off - on a good book, an expensive ice cream or a ticket to a match. When someone asks how much it cost, they'll say the number without "but it was on sale".

Aquarius

Today Aquarius will vote with the majority in the group chat - on the restaurant, the time, who brings the cake. No counter-proposal, no "just saying". Dinner will be where everyone wanted, and it will be good. Whether it bothers Aquarius that it was good, they'll find out by dessert.

Pisces

Today Pisces will be roasting peppers for ajvar at a relative's place. They'll peel them for hours, with blackened fingers and a smell they'll carry in their hair until evening. Nobody will ask about their dreams and plans - they'll ask whether the peppers are roasted enough. That question, Pisces will know exactly how to answer.
