Aries

Today Aries will wait for someone who's running late and won't send a "where are you." Fifteen minutes, then twenty, with coffee going cold and the phone staying in a pocket. When the person finally shows up out of breath with an apology ready, Aries will just say "sit down" - and mean it. A small record in patience that nobody will notice.

Taurus

Today Taurus will order something different at the place where it's been ordering the same thing for years. The waiter will look twice before writing it down. Taurus won't particularly like the new thing - and still won't go back to the old one until the end of the month.

Gemini

Today Gemini will say "I don't know" at a table where everyone has an opinion - on politics, on football, on the price of bread. Not out of fear, but because it really doesn't know. The conversation will carry on without Gemini for a few minutes, and it will be surprised how easy that was to say.

Cancer

Today Cancer will invite people over unannounced and without dusting first. On the table goes whatever is in the fridge - cheese, tomatoes, yesterday's bread. No one will notice the mess, and everyone will stay longer than at any dinner it spent weeks planning.

Leo

Today Leo will stand at the edge of the group photo, half out of the frame. It won't ask for a retake, and later won't zoom in to see how it came out. When the picture lands in the group chat, Leo will be the first to heart it - and that will be that.

Virgo

Today Virgo will buy something without reading a single review. No comparing prices in three shops. It will see it, like it, pay. Whether it was a good choice it will only find out once it starts using it - and that, for a change, will be enough.

Libra

Today Libra will say "I disagree" at the family lunch, out loud and without softening it with "but maybe I'm wrong." There will be a pause of a few seconds. Then someone will ask for more salad and lunch will carry on as if nothing happened - and nothing really will.

Scorpio

Today Scorpio will send a message without rereading it three times. With one typo, which it will leave as it is.

Sagittarius

Tonight Sagittarius will get Monday ready: ironed shirt, packed bag, keys in the same place. It will feel like playing someone else's part. Tomorrow morning it will arrive on time, with fifteen minutes to spare - and won't know what to do with them.

Capricorn

Today Capricorn will get lost in a place it thinks it knows and won't open the map on its phone. It will ask someone on the street, get directions along the lines of "well, right by the old shop" and get there. Ten minutes late and with a story it will tell all week.

Aquarius

Today Aquarius will follow grandma's recipe down to the last gram. The butter goes exactly where it belongs, and not a single idea of its own gets added. The cookies will come out exactly as remembered - and Aquarius will realize that's what was missing, not something new.

Pisces

Today Pisces will catch the first autumn cold and let someone make them tea. No repeating "I'm fine, don't worry" every half hour. The afternoon will be slept away under a blanket. When was the last time they let someone take care of them?
