Taurus will walk past the dance school in the neighbourhood today and, without thinking twice, sign up for a trial class. At home, they'll announce it as if it had been planned for ages. Their partner will ask "since when do you dance?", and the answer will be short: "since Wednesday".

Gemini

Gemini will help their grandmother cut quinces for preserves today. They'll talk the whole time, while she stays silent and cuts twice as fast. In the end they'll get the first jar, with a label written in her handwriting.

Cancer

At work today, Cancer will close the topic colleagues have been dragging out for three meetings - with one sentence and a proposal that comes with a deadline. Someone will try to open "just one more question". Cancer will write it down and say it'll be looked at on Friday. The meeting will end twenty minutes early and nobody will complain.

Leo

At the parents' meeting today, Leo will sit in the back row, on a chair too small for a grown-up. For a whole hour they'll stay silent while the other parents argue over one top grade in art class. Near the end they'll raise their hand just once, to ask when the school trip is - and it'll be the only question anyone knows the answer to.

Virgo will leave the bed unmade today and walk out of the house. They'll think about it until noon. After noon - not any more.

Libra

Libra will get two messages about Friday night today: an invitation to a birthday party they have to go to, and a suggestion from a friend who's been wanting to see them for ages. They'll leave both unanswered until the afternoon. Will they choose obligation or desire - and how many times so far have they chosen obligation?

Scorpio

Scorpio will take the cat to the vet for a check-up today and hold it on their lap the whole time in the waiting room, even though the cat won't want that. They'll whisper things to it that nobody else is allowed to hear. The cat will be healthy, and Scorpio will come home more tired than the cat.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius will stop a neighbour in the lift today to ask something small, and they'll both get out on the wrong floor, still talking. They'll stand on the stairs for half an hour. By the end they'll agree to fix the basement door together on Saturday - a job the building has been putting off for four years.

Capricorn

Capricorn will cook dinner for two from a recipe today, with a scale and a measuring cup. Somewhere between the onion and the sauce, they'll abandon the recipe and carry on by eye. Dinner will turn out better than the photo online, and Capricorn won't tell anyone exactly when they stopped measuring.

Aquarius

Aquarius will walk to work today, only because the bus pulled away right in front of them. They'll arrive ten minutes late and with red cheeks. Tomorrow they'll miss the bus on purpose.

Pisces

At the market today, Pisces will find out that the seller they've bought tomatoes from for years is retiring tomorrow. They'll buy more than they need, just to stand at the stall a little longer. In the end they'll ask for his number, without quite knowing why.
