Looking for more events? The full calendar of concerts and events in Macedonia and the region is in one place.
Marjan Georgievski brings the stand-up show "Ostani normalen" ("Stay Normal") to the Macedonian Philharmonic on 26 December at 8 pm. A hall built for symphonies, one man with a microphone and a title that looks more like advice than a programme.
Georgievski is a trained actor with a master's in theatre directing, on the staff of the National Theatre in Bitola since 2014. He has been doing stand-up since 2011, which puts him among the pioneers of the genre in Macedonia, and the numbers cited in his bios are more than 400 shows across Macedonia and the Balkans and over 15 million views on YouTube. He has also written for the TV show "Eden na eden" and founded the satirical theatre "Nosorog" in Skopje.
What exactly is in "Ostani normalen", the announcement doesn't say. The word isn't new to him, though: for summer 2025 he was billed at the Ancient Theatre in Ohrid with Bojan Velevski in the programme "Ova ne e normalno" ("This Isn't Normal"). Whether anything has become normal in the meantime, we'll see on 26 December.
Tickets start at 700 denars and are sold through kupikarta.com.
