Probištip Adopted a Youth Action Plan for 2027-2028 - the Activities Are "Concrete", but So Far Nobody Has Named Any

Probištip hosted the National Youth Dialogue - young people from Probištip, Berovo, Pehčevo, Vinica, Zrnovci and Kavadarci, together with youth workers, sat down at the table with Mayor Toni Tonevski and said what they need. The format is a good one: the municipality asks young people before deciding on their behalf.

Tonevski says the proposals were "concrete and explained in detail" and that most of them match the municipality's strategy and development plan. As proof that the words have a follow-up, he announced that at its last session the Council adopted the Youth Action Plan for 2027 and 2028.

Here comes the missing part. The press release says the plan provides for "concrete activities" to improve conditions for young people - but doesn't name a single one. How much money, for what, by when? We don't find out. The young people said concrete things; from the municipality, so far, we get generalities.

How many young people will stay in Probištip if the plan remains a document with a nice title? If the Municipality wants to show the dialogue was real, the next step is simple: publish the plan, with a budget and deadlines, so the young people who sat at that table can check whether their proposals made it in.
