The Rasmus, the Finnish band whose song "In the Shadows" swept European charts in 2003, arrive in Sofia on 14 March 2027. The concert is at JOY Station, starting at 20:00.

The band was formed in 1994 and has worked without a break ever since - three decades with the same core line-up, in a genre where groups usually fall apart after the second album. The international breakthrough came with "In the Shadows", a song that lifted an entire generation of melodic alternative rock at the time and is still their most recognisable work twenty years later.

Their latest release is the 2025 album "Weirdo", around which the current tour is built. That same tour took them to Australia for the first time in January 2026 - Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne - an unexpected first after thirty years of career. They spend the summer of 2026 on the European festival circuit, including Nova Rock in Austria.

JOY Station is a club stage, which means the Sofia date will not be watched from a distance. Tickets start at 41 leva through eventim.bg. March 2027 is far enough away to plan for, and Sofia is about three hours from Skopje - for readers who know this song from their youth, this is a genuinely realistic trip.
