Aleksandra Prijović has scheduled a concert in Zrenjanin at Kristalna Dvorana (the sports hall) on Friday, September 18 at 20:00. The Serbian pop-folk star is one of the most commercially successful artists of the Balkans' new generation and the rare performer who has sold out five concerts at Arena Zagreb, three at the Olympic Zetra in Sarajevo and three at Čair Hall in Niš.
Born in 1995 in Sombor, Prijović has been called "the only folk diva of the new generation" by the Croatian portal Index.hr. She started her career in 2013 on "Zvezde Granda," where she finished in third place, and that same year released her debut single "Još večeras plakaću za tobom" on Grand Production. Her breakthrough came in 2015 with "Za nas kasno je" - a song that has pulled over 80 million views on YouTube.
Her biggest hits include "Totalna anestezija" with 66 million views, "Senke" with a million views in its first 24 hours, and "Ko si ti" - a 2018 duet with Saša Matić that, with over 110 million views on YouTube, became one of the biggest pop-folk hits of the Balkans. She has three studio albums to her name - "Testament" (2017), "Zvuk tišine" (2022) and "Devet života" (2023). Her concerts are known for selling out in days - the kind of regional pull that says something about who actually owns the pop-folk market right now.
Tickets are sold through tickets.rs. Doors at 19:00, start at 20:00 at Kristalna Dvorana sports hall in Zrenjanin - 110 kilometres north-east of Belgrade, in central Vojvodina.
