AURA, one of the biggest names in the Balkan electronic festival scene, returns to Sofia from June 19 to 21, 2026. The edition under the Temple of EOS concept, named after the goddess of dawn in Greek mythology, is the third consecutive year at Sofia Airport Park - the airport complex on the city's southeastern edge that serves as the festival's main site.
The 2026 lineup is one of the strongest in the festival's history. Top names include Armin van Buuren from the Netherlands - five-time winner of the DJ Mag Top 100 - Alok from Brazil, currently in the top 5 of the same list, and Dimitri Vegas of the Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. The regional headliner is Mahmut Orhan, the Turkish DJ and producer whose track Feel has crossed 300 million views. Add Japanese techno DJ Yousuke Yukimatsu and Italian techno collective 999999999.
The second tier of the lineup includes Bia, ChinoNegro, Denis Sulta, Elli Acula, Gaiser, Jesabel, Laura van Dam, Olympe and The Muffin Man, plus a long list of local names. The programme runs across three stages with different musical directions - classic trance on the main stage, techno and house on the second, experimental electronic on the third. AURA's identity over the years has been shaped by the visual installations and architectural stage builds that change every edition.
Tickets are available via ticketstation.bg and aurafestival.bg. The three days offer different package types - day tickets, three-day passes and VIP options. Sofia Airport Park is easy to reach by public transport and the festival's own shuttle services. For Macedonian electronic-scene fans, AURA is the biggest festival of this type in the immediate neighbourhood.
