Chris Isaak, one of the most recognisable names on the American rockabilly and pop-rock scene since the early 90s, lands in Sofia on June 22, 2026. The show takes over Vidas Art Arena in Sofia's Borisova Garden, set up as a fully seated event for maximum experience. This is his first ever appearance in Bulgaria after a four-decade career.
The Stockton, California artist surfaced on the scene in the mid-80s, but the global breakthrough came in 1989 with Wicked Game and its legendary black-and-white video directed by David Lynch for the film Wild at Heart. The track, with its unmistakable guitar riff by James Calvin Wilsey, is one of the most-played ballads of the 90s and still shows up on lists of the greatest rock ballads of all time. With 13 studio albums, a Grammy nomination and platinum certifications in several countries, Isaak is one of the rare rock performers still operating at this level four decades in.
Isaak's concerts are known for their signature sparkling suits, his easy ability to interact with the audience, and one of the most recognisable voices in the genre - a Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley combination in sound, but with contemporary production. The 2026 European tour setlist is built around his classics and material from the album Mr. Lucky.
Tickets are available via ticketstation.bg at 88 leva. The show is on Monday, June 22, 2026. Vidas Art Arena sits at the velodrome in Sofia's Borisova Garden. For Macedonian fans of classic American rock-country this is a big rare opportunity - Isaak has never played Skopje.
