Doctors from Clinical Centers Among Those Arrested for Illegal Botox and Filler Imports

Police struck at multiple locations across Macedonia. The operation targets organized illegal importation and distribution of botox and fillers - medical products for aesthetic procedures that entered the country without any permits.

The Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime announced that intensive searches and detentions of suspects are underway. The investigation covers criminal offenses of "criminal association," "intellectual property violations," and "bribery."

Unofficially, over ten individuals have been detained, including dermatologists from public health institutions and private practices. The group systematically procured medical products without permits and distributed them for aesthetic treatments. During searches, significant quantities of medical products, cash, mobile phones, and a luxury vehicle were seized.
