Scottish techno DJ and producer Franck headlines the Missed Connection night at Zagreb's Peti Kupe club on October 16, from 23:00 until 5 in the morning. Joining him behind the decks are Zagreb DJ Kali and Ljubljana duo Rotor Motor.

Franck, real name Frankie Ogilvie, comes from Edinburgh and is known for harder, darker techno. His 2022 EP "Hear The Sound", released on Germany's R-Label Group, went to number one on Beatport's hard techno chart and got support from Charlotte de Witte, Kobosil and VTSS. In 2023 his single "For Real" was the first release on the label of Scottish festival Terminal V. He has played Awakenings, DGTL, Terminal V and KRSD, and runs his own party series and label, Carouse.

Kali is one of the most established names on the Croatian underground scene, with ten years behind the decks, moving between house, tech house, techno, acid and hard groove, with a taste for faster tempos. Rotor Motor first played Peti Kupe in April, and Missed Connection is the series they created after that night. How often do rising techno names make it to the region's clubs before they get too expensive for them?

Early-bird tickets cost 13 euros (about 800 denars), regular presale 16 euros (about 990 denars), on entrio.hr. Peti Kupe is at Trnjanska cesta 5 in Zagreb.
