High Vis, the London-Liverpool band pushing the lines between hardcore, post-punk and indie rock, hits City Stage in Sofia on June 16, 2026. The show is part of the band's European Guided Tour for summer 2026 and their first ever Bulgaria appearance.
The band is made up of five musicians with backgrounds on the 2010s hardcore scene, but the new project dresses that energy in a more melodic, more vulnerable form. Albums Blending (2022) and Guided Tour (2024) earned strong reviews - the latter was named one of the best rock albums of the year by NME and DIY Magazine. Tracks like Talk for Hours, Trauma Bonds and Mind s Mind have them described as new blood for the British post-punk scene alongside Fontaines D.C., IDLES and Shame.
Frontman Graham Sayer's voice has a direct, raw working-class tone that recalls the classic 80s Manchester bands, but the lyrical material - mental health, class, northern English identity - is fully contemporary. City Stage is a club with capacity for around 600, the kind of tight room the band's intense style demands.
Tickets are available via ticketstation.bg from 25 euros. The show kicks off in the evening on June 16, 2026. City Stage sits in central Sofia. High Vis aren't coming to Skopje, so this is the closest chance to catch the band at one of the earliest stages of their career.
