Kedr Livanskiy plays Karmakoma club in Belgrade on November 27 from 20:00. Behind the name is Yana Kedrina, a Moscow electronic musician, singer, producer and DJ.

Kedrina was born in Moscow in 1990. She started as the vocalist of a short-lived punk band, after a brief stint drumming in a sludge group, and her interest in electronic music grew through the self-organised collective Johns' Kingdom, which she founded with friends. She posted her first songs on SoundCloud, after which she was signed by 2MR, the label of Mike Simonetti and Mike Sniper. Then came the EP "January Sun" (2016) and the albums "Ariadna" (2017), "Your Need" (2019) and "Liminal Soul" (2021). With her partner Flaty she also formed the indie duo Kosaya Gora.

Critics describe her sound as cold techno beats under melancholic Russian vocals and compare it to Laurel Halo and Grimes. She works with analogue synths like the Roland SH-101 and Juno 106, and on the more recent EP "K-Notes" she mixes drum and bass, trance and alternative pop.

Tickets cost 2,000 dinars (about 1,053 denars) and are on sale at tickets.rs.
