Croatian stand-up collective Lajnap performs its themed show "Devedesete" ("The Nineties") at Sax club in Zagreb on October 14 at 20:00. On stage: Aleks Curać Šarić, Josip Gotovac, Vlatko Štampar, Saša Turković and Goran Vugrinec. The theme is simple: the decade in which most of them were kids - except Saša, who according to the announcement itself was already a grown-up in the nineties.

Lajnap is a crew of comedians who regularly tour Croatia with joint nights - in August they played Rovinj, and Štampar, who comes from Čakovec, books their shows through his own company. They list the material for this night themselves: the Backstreet Boys and the Spice Girls, Croatian dance with Sena M, ET and Kasandra, and the telenovela "Esmeralda" in the slot when "Beverly Hills" wasn't on. Anyone who remembers the nineties in the Balkans knows they were also something far heavier than pop music - it remains to be seen how much of that makes it into the jokes.

The format is a club stand-up night with five comedians. The organisers warn that by buying a ticket the audience agrees to be filmed and photographed, but filming the comedians themselves is forbidden - the phone stays in your pocket.

Presale tickets cost 12 euros (about 740 denars), or 14 euros on the day. They're on sale at entrio.hr and Entrio outlets, and doors at the club on Palmotićeva 22 open at 19:00.
