The government reshuffle gets a deadline: it should be formalised by the end of June, and the new names go before MPs by July 1. That's what PM Mickoski announced - without saying which names, how many ministries, or which coalition partners are in the game.
Mickoski was careful with his wording: "In the interest of the process, I won't say much about specific personnel decisions, names and the like." The word "reconstruction" in Macedonian politics can mean a lot of things - swapping out a few ministers, personnel rotations in state-owned firms, or a broader redefinition of the coalition deal altogether.
In parallel, VMRO-DPMNE is also planning a party restructuring and a membership refresh - a process slated for late July through September. That suggests the changes aren't just technical but political - groundwork for the next electoral cycle.
The deadline is concrete. If it isn't honoured - and that's common enough in Macedonian politics - it'll be one more example of the gap between policy announced and policy delivered. For now the number is July 1, and the clock is running.
