Skorpions vo Sofija na 27 juni

Scorpions, one of the most recognisable German rock bands in history, lands in Sofia on June 27, 2026. The show takes over Arena 8888, the Bulgarian capital's new big indoor hall, as part of the worldwide 60 Coming Home tour marking sixty years since the band's formation in 1965.

The Hannover band - frontman Klaus Meine, guitarists Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs, bassist Pawel Maciwoda and drummer Mikkey Dee (former Motörhead) - is the author of some of the most recognisable hard-rock and power ballads of the past five decades. Wind of Change became something bigger than a song - it became the sound of the end of the Cold War and is still one of the most-played songs in Eastern Europe. Add Still Loving You, Rock You Like a Hurricane, No One Like You, Send Me an Angel - standard reference points for any heavy metal fan. With 19 studio albums and an estimated 110 million records sold, they're one of the best-selling rock bands of all time.

The Coming Home tour is built as a big event with full stage production and a setlist that covers every phase of the career - from the 70s to today. According to announcements from other tour dates, the show runs to more than 18 songs across roughly two hours, plus special video projections walking the audience through the band's journey across the years. Arena 8888 with capacity for 15,000 is the biggest indoor hall in Sofia.

Tickets are available via ticketstation.bg from 40 to 78 euros. The show kicks off in the evening on June 27, 2026. Arena 8888 is in the northern part of Sofia and is easy to reach by public transport. For Macedonian fans this is a meaningful chance, especially given Scorpions haven't played Skopje in decades.
