Sean Paul, nothing less than one of the biggest stars of dancehall and reggae music from Jamaica, comes to Sofia on May 15, 2026. The show is part of the worldwide Rise Jamaica tour and goes down at Vidas Art Arena, set up at the velodrome in Borisova Garden, starting at 19:00.
The Kingston Grammy-winner is the author of hits like Temperature, Get Busy, We Be Burnin and Got 2 Luv U, and one of the rare artists who has successfully carried the Jamaican dancehall scene up to global pop level. With more than two decades in the game, tours across more than 120 countries and dozens of multi-platinum singles in collaborations with Beyoncé, Sia, Dua Lipa and Clean Bandit, he is one of the most recognisable voices in contemporary music. This is his first appearance in Bulgaria in 14 years.
The Rise Jamaica show is built as a big production with a full band and crew aimed at pulling the audience straight into the Caribbean rhythm. The set covers hits from across the career as well as material from the artist's latest releases. The concert was originally scheduled for May 13, then moved to May 15, as confirmed on the updated promo poster.
Tickets are available via Ticket Station in Bulgaria from 50 euros. Vidas Art Arena, also known as Kolodrum, is one of Sofia's biggest open-air concert venues. Bulgaria is easy to reach by car or bus from Skopje, so May 15 is a solid opportunity for viewers thinking about a quick weekend in the neighbouring capital.
