Aca Lukas has been given a second date at Belgrade Arena. On top of the already scheduled November 4 concert, the promoter opened up November 3 as well, a Tuesday, starting at 8 p.m. The poster says "new date" and stacks the two dates one above the other, with a shot of a packed arena behind them.

That is the most direct indicator this industry has: a second night is not opened out of optimism, it is opened when the first one can no longer hold the demand. Both nights are a Tuesday and a Wednesday - neither is a weekend, which makes the ticket count an even more interesting number.

And there is a detail that is anything but accidental: Aleksandar Vuksanovic, which is his real name, was born on November 3, 1968. The new date falls exactly on his birthday.

The tour's slogan, "Za kafanu na Balkanu" - for the kafana of the Balkans - tells you both the repertoire and the ambition. Lukas recorded his first album, "Ponos i laz", in 1995, and it immediately delivered "Kuda idu ljudi kao ja" - a song that thirty years on is still a standard in kafanas across the whole region.
