A$AP Rocky, one of the biggest stars of contemporary hip-hop, plays Sofia for the first time. The American rapper arrives on October 9 at Arena 8888 as part of the world tour „Don't Be Dumb“, which spans over 40 countries across the US and Europe.
Born Rakim Mayers, A$AP Rocky is a rapper, producer, actor and fashion icon, and one of the most-streamed names on the planet with over 25 billion streams. He rose from the A$AP Mob collective in Harlem to a solo superstar with albums that redefined the aesthetics of American rap, and his influence long ago spread beyond music into fashion and pop culture.
The Sofia concert comes at a peak moment in his career, marking his return with the long-awaited fourth album „Don't Be Dumb“, whose Spotify pre-saves topped a million and broke the platform's previous hip-hop records. On stage the audience can expect a mix of new material and the proven hits that made him one of the most recognisable names in the genre.
The show is on Friday, October 9, at Arena 8888 in Sofia, organised by Fest Team. Tickets start at around 145 euros and are on sale through ticketstation.bg. The event is in Bulgaria, a few hours' drive for a Macedonian audience weighing a trip to Sofia.
