Autopsy in Thessaloniki Found No Violent Death for the 24-Year-Old Student: Toxicology Results Awaited

The initial findings of the forensic autopsy of the 24-year-old student from Macedonia, found dead in an apartment in the Thessaloniki neighborhood of Sykies, so far show no signs of a violent death. According to Greek media, the findings point to possible pathological causes - death resulting from a health problem or a natural process in the body.

The autopsy found no injuries or other signs that would indicate a crime. But the investigation is not over: the Greek authorities are awaiting the results of toxicology analyses, which are to determine the exact cause of death. Until then, no conclusion is final - and it's important to repeat that, because in cases like these, rushing to explanations hurts the grieving most.

The young woman had earlier been reported missing after her family failed to reach her over an extended period. After a search, she was found lifeless in the apartment where she lived. According to unofficial information, she was a student from Prilep studying in Thessaloniki - but her identity has not yet been officially confirmed.

A story every Macedonian family with a child studying abroad reads with a tightened heart. How many of our young people live alone in foreign cities, kilometers from their loved ones, reachable only through a screen? When communication goes silent, the panic is the same whether it's Thessaloniki, Vienna, or Prague. The final answers will come from the medical analyses - until then, all that remains is the waiting, the hardest thing in the world for a family.
