Belgrade rap duo Bigru and Paja Kratak play the Čardak pub in Valjevo on 13 November from 9 p.m.

The duo was formed by Miloš Grubor (Bigru) and Pavle Janković (Paja Kratak) in 2013 in the Belgrade neighbourhood of Medaković, and they debuted right away with the single "Tamanica". They won their first fans with witty, original rap in which humour matters as much as rhyme.

Their 2015 debut album "Nije Peka Indijanac" was named after Petar Đušić - Peka, a former member of their previous rap group who was killed, and the album is dedicated to the friends they lost. The second, "Rep kaki volem", came out in 2018 with songs like "Ćabrala" and "Hud ceo je gengsta". The third, "Šta ima braćo gde ste?!", was released on 12 June 2020, Peka's birthday, and critics consider it one of the most successful releases of the Serbian rap scene.

Tickets start at 1,000 dinars, about 526 denars, on tickets.rs. A gig in a pub, not an arena - the format in which a duo that has spent almost a decade and a half making rap for themselves and their neighbourhood sounds most honest.
