The well-known Skopje businessman Marjan Jovanov, known to the public as Mane Levis, has been found dead in the yard of his home in the Karposh neighbourhood. The death was confirmed by the Ministry of Interior, and the cause is yet to be determined by an autopsy.

Jovanov was one of the better-known names in Macedonian business - the distributor of the „Levi's" brand in the country, which is how he earned the nickname the public knew him by. According to first information, the body was found in the yard of the home, and the police and the prosecution are carrying out the usual investigative actions.

For now there is no official cause of death, and that is the only thing worth waiting for in cases like this - instead of speculation. When a public figure dies, the Balkan habit is to write the story before the autopsy is finished. Metla will not do that.

It remains to be seen what the autopsy will show. Until then, the facts come down to one - a man whom many knew by name is gone. Everything else is an assumption, and assumptions about someone's death are not news, but gossip.
