A classical ballet gala concert takes place on 29 November at 7 pm at the "Vlada Divljan" Cultural Centre in Belgrade. The programme is made up of the most famous pas de deux from the world ballet repertoire: "The Sleeping Beauty", "The Flames of Paris", "Don Quixote" and "Le Corsaire", and the organiser also promises "Swan Lake".

Performing are ballet artists from Serbia and Russia, graduates of the A. Y. Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in Saint Petersburg, along with guest soloists from leading theatres. The soloists' names haven't been announced, which is usual for gala evenings like this: the star is the repertoire, not the poster.

The format is easy even for people who rarely go to the ballet. Instead of a full three-hour production, the audience watches a run of the hardest and most spectacular duets, the very passages these ballets are remembered for. Technically, it's an evening of leaps, pirouettes and precision with no pause for plot.

Prices on tickets.rs start at 1,600 dinars, about 840 denars. The gala repeats at the same venue on 24 January and 28 February 2027, at 7 pm, so if the November date doesn't work, there are two more chances.
