Veliko Tarnovo gets the second and final Bulgarian night of Dire Straits Legacy. The concert is on October 1, 2026 at 7 p.m. at the Summer Theatre, a day after the Burgas show.

The line-up includes four musicians who played or recorded with Dire Straits. Alan Clark has been the band's keyboardist since 1980, Danny Cummings was on percussion on the original group's last tour, and Phil Palmer played guitar with Mark Knopfler and now leads the project's music. Mel Collins on saxophone also carries the history of King Crimson. Italian Marco Caviglia sings and plays, and the line-up is completed by Steve Walters, Primiano Di Biase and Alex Polifrone.

Dire Straits split in 1995, so Legacy is the way to hear those songs live with some of the people who were in the studio and on the tours. Expect "Sultans of Swing", their first big hit from 1978, "Money for Nothing" and "Six Blade Knife", as well as songs from "Brothers in Arms", an album that sold around 30 million copies.

Tickets on bilet.bg cost roughly 1,890 to 4,410 denars (30.68 to 71.58 euros). Children under seven get in without a ticket, but without a seat. For audiences from Macedonia, Tarnovo is a good excuse to combine a concert with a weekend in one of the most beautiful old towns in the Balkans.
