Dubioza Kolektiv in an Ancient Roman Quarry near Pula on June 27 - The Band at the Rocks and Stars Festival at Cave Romane

Dubioza Kolektiv, one of the most energetic bands from the former Yugoslavia, performs in an ancient Roman quarry. On June 27, 2026, at Cave Romane in Vinkuran near Pula, the group plays as part of the Rocks & Stars festival, on a stage with exceptional acoustics.

For more than two decades Dubioza Kolektiv has fused sharp social criticism with an explosive live show. The band has played the biggest festivals in the world - Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Roskilde and EXIT - and sold out concerts across the US, Canada and Europe. Their music, a mix of reggae, ska, dubstep and rock, with lyrics that don't stay silent about politics and injustice, has made them one of the most recognisable names on the alternative scene in the region.

The venue is a story in itself. Cave Romane is an ancient Roman quarry from which stone was cut to build the Pula Arena back in the first century, and today it holds around a thousand seats in a perfect blend with nature and excellent acoustics under the open sky.

The concert starts at 9 p.m., with tickets sold through entrio.hr. The event is in Croatia, in Istria near Pula, for readers planning a summer trip to the Adriatic.
