This year Imotski gets a new summer festival - Iđen Doli Fest, running from July 17 to 19 at the Perinuša spring beside the Vrlika river. The three-day event combines music, film and gastronomy at a spot known so far more as a picnic destination than a concert stage.
The music programme gathers some of the best-known Croatian names. Daleka Obala, the cult Dalmatian band led by Đakša and Hrepa, and pop singer Mia Dimšić are among the headliners, while Nina Badrić opens the first night. The second night brings Ante Kaš and Domenika to the stage, and the third is reserved for open-air screenings under the stars.
Beyond the concerts, the festival offers a generous food-and-drink zone plus an open-air cinema screening the new animated film „David", dubbed by Jakov Jozinović. For the youngest visitors there are inflatables, trampolines, festival games and creative workshops across all three days, making the event aimed at the whole family, not just music lovers.
Tickets sell through entrio.hr at a friendly price of up to around 15 euros for the full experience. As the festival's first edition, Iđen Doli Fest is an attempt to put Imotski on Dalmatia's summer festival map, and the mix of established names and family programming gives it a real shot at growing into a tradition.
