Bulgarian alternative band Kerana i Kosmonavtite play Lozenets on the Black Sea coast on August 15, as part of the Star Night beach concert series. The group, one of the freshest arrivals on the Bulgarian scene in recent years, comes to The Spot club with its recognisable genre mix.
Kerana i Kosmonavtite formed in 2017, led by singer Yuliya Yordanova, known as Kerana. The band quickly imposed itself with expressive live shows and unconventional arrangements that blend pop-rock, ska, folklore, funk and jazz. This wide spectrum of styles sets them apart from other Bulgarian bands and earned them notable recognition - BG Radio's debut of the year award in 2021 and band of the year in 2023.
So far the band has released two albums - „Ursa Minor" (2021) and „Octant" (2024) - featuring elements of funk, rock, jazz and pop. Live shows are what the group is most known for, and the beach setting of Lozenets, with the sunset over the Black Sea, is an ideal stage for their energetic and playful sound.
The concert starts at 9:30 p.m., with tickets sold through bilet.bg. For lovers of alternative and genre-blending music from Macedonia holidaying on the Bulgarian coast, an evening with Kerana i Kosmonavtite is a refreshing pick away from the standard variety concerts.
