The Russian Defence Ministry announced that its forces carried out a „group strike with high-precision long-range weapons” on a site near Kyiv, where advanced drones „of Ukrainian and foreign origin, used for attacks on civilian targets in Russia” were being demonstrated. With this, Moscow packages the target in advance as military, and not as anything else.

The spokesman of the Ukrainian army, Yuriy Ihnat, confirmed two strikes on a range in the Kyiv region during the drone exhibition. The Ukrainian prosecutor's office documented ten killed and over a hundred injured. Among those present at the moment of the strike, according to Ukrainian sources, were drone manufacturers, representatives of the unmanned systems command and members of the Ukrainian services.

Local media reported explosions across the Kyiv region, with information that the target was the association of unmanned systems manufacturers „Armada”. The planned exhibition was to show unmanned aircraft, detection equipment, radar systems and electronic warfare capabilities - that is, exactly what keeps the Ukrainian army alive for the third year running.
