Sasa Kovacevic closes his autumn tour at the "Veliki Park" sports hall in Uzice on November 13, starting at 8 p.m. Tickets run at around 789 dinars through tickets.rs.

Kovacevic was born on July 27, 1985 in Zemun, where he finished the "Kosta Manojlovic" music school as a piano student, then went on to study recording and sound design at the Academy of Arts. That is not the usual profile for a pop singer from this region - most of his colleagues have no formal musical training at all, let alone a production background.

His first television appearance came in 2004 at the Suncane Skale festival with the song "Pakao i raj". He did not win anything, but the performance opened the doors. Next came the single "Jedina si vredela", which grew into a major hit, and in 2006 he recorded his first album for City Records, with "Lagala me il' ne lagala" and "Ruka za spas" - the latter named song of the year. His second album, "Ornament", from 2010, cemented the status.

"Bezimo iz grada" became the summer hit of 2011, and "Korak do dna" is among the songs that stayed on playlists the longest. Two decades on, Kovacevic is one of those Serbian pop names that reliably fill sports halls out in the provinces, not just in Belgrade.

Uzice is the last of five stops, after Kragujevac, Sabac, Pozarevac and Krusevac. Five cities in under a month, all of them outside the capital, none in Belgrade - a routing that tells you exactly where his audience is.
