The Socialist Party of Macedonia reacted to the arrest of its deputy chairman Anakiev. The party called on institutions to act "according to law, responsibly and without selectivity."

The party expressed its commitment to "honest and responsible work." It also criticized "attacking partisan labeling" and "tendentious publication of photos violating human dignity."
