Australian Celtic punks The Rumjacks come to Zagreb on September 11 for a show at the Vintage Industrial Bar. The band, known for fusing Irish folk with punk energy, returns to the Croatian capital as part of its European tour.

The Rumjacks formed in Sydney in 2008 and quickly imposed themselves as one of the best-known names on the global Celtic punk scene. Their biggest hit „An Irish Pub Song" gathered over a hundred million views on YouTube and became an anthem in bars around the world. After a singer change in 2019, when Scottish vocalist Mike Rice-Evans took the lead, the band kept up intense touring and new albums, holding on to its recognisable blend of bagpipes, mandolin and punk riffs.

The Vintage Industrial Bar concert is set up as the kind of energetic club night the genre calls for - a crowd that jumps and sings, right up close to the stage. The club, housed in a former button factory, is one of Zagreb's best-known concert venues and a regular host of alternative and punk shows.

Doors open at 8 p.m., and the concert starts at 9:15. Tickets sell through entrio.hr, priced from around 17 to 20 euros. For Celtic punk lovers in the region, this is a chance to see one of the genre's most popular bands live in an intimate club setting.
