Croatian rock band Urban & 4 perform on August 7 at the Istrian Morosini-Grimani castle in Svetvinčenat, in one of the region's most beautiful settings for a summer concert. The group, led by frontman Damir Urban, comes with an open-air concert in the historic fortress.
For more than three decades Urban & 4 have built a special bond with their audience through honest, powerful and emotional shows. Damir Urban, previously frontman of the cult band Laufer and of Urban, is one of the most recognisable names on Croatia's alternative rock scene, an author whose expression fuses poetic lyrics with a raw yet melodic sound. His concerts with Urban & 4 are known for their intensity and the emotion they carry, which makes them far more than an ordinary show.
The Morosini-Grimani castle, a medieval fortress in the heart of Istria, lends this concert a special atmosphere that standard halls cannot offer. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the concert starts around 9 p.m., with DJ Vasabi playing before and after the set. Given the expected turnout, the organisers recommend arriving early.
Tickets sell through entrio.hr for up to around 30 euros. For lovers of Croatian rock holidaying in Istria, an evening with Urban & 4 in the ancient castle is one of the most authentic musical experiences this part of the Adriatic offers this summer.
