Three reports of attacked minors in Skopje in a single day: a threat with a sharp object in Centar, an attack on a school trip in Saraj

The Skopje police bulletin for October 2 reads like a list of parents' nightmares. The reports came from different parts of the city, and in all of them the victims were children.

A sharp object and money in Centar. Around midnight, a 50-year-old Skopje man reported that his 15-year-old son had been robbed at around 22:30 in the Centar area. According to the report, two minors used physical force and threatened him with a sharp object, then took his money. The police did not say how much money, or whether the boy was hurt.

A trip that ended in a police report. The same day, at around 11:20, at the "Saraj" Recreation Centre, three underage pupils from a Skopje primary school, who were there on an organised day trip, were physically attacked. A person identified as A.I. is named as the suspect. Neither the reason nor any injuries to the children have been disclosed.

Aerodrom, afternoon. At around 17:55, in Aerodrom, a 17-year-old boy and 19-year-old K.P. were physically attacked, and the report names 61-year-old B.M. from Skopje as the attacker. The case was reported by the boy's mother and the 19-year-old.

In all three cases the police are "taking measures to clear it up" and announce appropriate charges once the cases are documented. That is the standard sentence. The answers parents are waiting for aren't in the bulletin: how did the attacker in Saraj get to children who were under the school's supervision, and who will find the two minors walking the streets of Centar with a sharp object? How many nights like this will it take for someone to stop calling them isolated incidents?
