BREAKDAY FEST returns with a second edition at Club Mixtape 5 in Sofia, this time as a two-day festival on June 19 and 20, 2027. The focus sits entirely on the heaviest subgenres - slam, death metal and beatdown.

The first edition ran for one day under the name NO FACE NO CASE. ZMF Productions are now doubling the bet: two days instead of one, plus an announcement of more international acts still to come. That is a logical move for a scene that has a small but steady following in Bulgaria, and where the festival format allows for a longer bill.

The first two names are already out. EMBRYECTOMY open, joined by SPAWN OF DISGUST. The rest of the line-up will be announced over the coming months, which for a festival set for June 2027 means there is plenty of time to fill the programme.

Mixtape 5 is a large-capacity club by Sofia standards, and the format is deliberately built so all of it happens under a roof rather than outdoors. A two-day ticket costs 60 euros, a single-day ticket 30 euros, both via bilet.bg. Tickets are already on sale - early for a festival nearly two years out, but nothing unusual.
