Flowers, Corsets and Trousers: Six Bridal Trends for 2027 That Are Rewriting the Rules

Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2027 had something to say - and the message is clear: the bride of the future doesn't want to disappear under the weight of tradition. Six main trends stood out between April 22 and 24, and some of them directly challenge the assumption of "what a bride should look like."

Flowers, everywhere. Mariano Moreno built actual gardens onto wedding dresses; Sima Couture wove blooms into the lace embroidery of skirts and veils. Botanical inspiration isn't just a trend - it's a statement that nature is a beautiful enough decoration on its own.

Boho brides aren't going anywhere. Immaclé and Marco&María offered transparencies, ruffled sleeves and romantic necklines - light, elegant, with a fantasy touch that somehow works for both the face and the setting.

The halter neckline dominated the show at Yolancris and Amarca - the "romantic choice par excellence" for spring weddings. Going the other way, trouser suits from Isabel Sanchís and Stéphane Rolland are aimed at civil ceremonies - no dress, no compromise.

Caps instead of veils: decorated caps with flowers are replacing the traditional veil at several designers, perfect for loose or half-up hair. And to close - the corset. Lace, satin, high tailoring. The corset is back, and this time it's here with authenticity, not nostalgia.
