Swiss technical thrash metal pioneers Coroner play Sofia's Joy Station on 1 November, on their European tour "Dissonance Over Europe, Pt. I". The show starts at 8 p.m., with Italian death metal band Hour of Penance and Maltworm as guests.

Coroner is a Zurich band that in the eighties and nineties pushed thrash into more complex, almost progressive waters. After the 1993 album "Grin" the band split up in 1996, returned to the stage in 2010, and only in October 2025, via Century Media, released "Dissonance Theory". It's their first studio album in a full 32 years.

The core is unchanged: Ron Royce, real name Ron Broder, on bass and vocals, and guitarist Tommy Vetterli, also known as Tommy T. Baron, who in the late nineties also played in Germany's Kreator. Since 2014 Diego Rapacchietti has been on drums, replacing founder Marky Edelmann. In February 2026 the band finished the "Dissonance Over the West" tour of the US and Canada with Heathen, their first longer North American tour in decades.

A ticket costs 39.02 euros including fees, about 2,404 denars, and is on sale at eventim.bg.
