The "Into The Jumbish" tour of Bulgarian metal bands Hellbound and Death Row reaches Yambol on 31 October, at the Rogacha rock club. For Death Row it's a home show: the band was founded right here in Yambol. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the music starts at 9:30, with Bound to Bleed as the support act.
Death Row formed in 2021 and, after several line-up changes, today plays with Rosen Ivanov on vocals, Gabriel Ivanov on guitar, Nikola Kralchev on bass and Vasil Tatarov on drums. The band takes its inspiration from the aggression and energy of the metal legends of the nineties, and its debut album "Into Oblivion" is the reason for its first national tour. So far it has played Hills of Rock in 2024 and the S'cool Rock Fest festival.
Hellbound are presented by the promoters as pioneers of so-called "jumbish metal" and third-place winners of Metal Battle Bulgaria, the competition that leads to Germany's Wacken Open Air festival. The tour poster tells you the whole aesthetic: a zombie prisoner in an orange jumpsuit with a barbell on his shoulders, a basketball and the slogan "Jumbish Foreva".
A ticket costs 10 euros, about 616 denars, at bilet.bg. The night before, the tour is in Burgas, and on 1 November it continues in Varna.
