On 31 October the top floor of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Sofia turns into a Halloween festival. "Infected Halloween" offers 18 acts in three separate halls covering more than 2,500 square metres, with 12 hours of music from 8 p.m. until the morning of 1 November.

The event is organised by the Faza collective as part of the "Rooftop Connections" series, alternative music nights that turn emblematic buildings and spaces in Sofia into venues for music, art and meetings between different communities. The organisers themselves describe it as one of the biggest Halloween events in the Bulgarian capital, returning this year on a bigger scale.

Each hall has its own atmosphere: from hip-hop, rap and trap to house, electro and techno. Among the 18 names on the programme are Stefan Panev, Kaya Siren and J-Lost, with art installations, visual effects and Halloween decorations. Sound is by Danley Sound Labs, and entry is through gate A4 of NDK.

The 15-euro promotional tickets have sold out, and a regular ticket now costs 20 euros, about 1,232 denars. A group of five can take a combined package for 80 euros, which works out at 16 euros a person. Tickets are on sale at bilet.bg.
