Belgrade's Ušće park hosts the fifth edition of the Dragi Bravo Festival on August 21 and 22, an event that every year rewinds time to the golden era of pop and folk music from the first decade of this century. This year the festival carries a theme inspired by „Alice in Wonderland", which also gave it the Wonderland subtitle.
Over the years Dragi Bravo has grown into one of Belgrade's best-attended festivals precisely because of its nostalgia concept - nights filled with hits today's young crowd grew up listening to, performed in the setting of a big party. This year the organisers promise to turn Ušće into a fairy-tale world full of colour, light and fantasy, with a colourful amusement park, themed stalls and characters inspired by the Alice story - the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat among the visitors.
Instead of a single headliner, the festival's strength is in the setting and in the run of hits stacked across both nights. The Ušće grounds, with a view of the river, are one of the best summer locations in Belgrade for an event of this scale, and the mix of music and a fully built stage design sets Dragi Bravo apart from the usual concerts.
Tickets sell through tickets.rs, with different categories - Fan Pit, VIP and Gold - and a starting price of around 1,500 dinars. For visitors from Macedonia after a nostalgic party in the Serbian capital, the Dragi Bravo Festival is one of the most colourful August destinations in the region.
