Igor Angelov returns with his list. The one-man show "Site najubavi nešta" ("Every Brilliant Thing") gets three new performances at Audiokultura in Skopje: on October 1, 17 and 30, always from 8 p.m.

The text is based on "Every Brilliant Thing" by British playwright Duncan Macmillan. At its centre is a child whose parent is going through hard times in life and who starts making a list of all the brilliant things in the world, to have something to hold on to. The subject is mental health and how much the people we love need us, but the show gets there through humour, not pathos.

It's directed by Dejan Projkovski, one of the most awarded directors in the region, and produced by OHO. What makes it different is the format: the audience doesn't just watch, it gets tasks from the moment it walks in and becomes part of the performance. The show has played at Ohrid Summer and Bitfest, and its performances so far have sold out quickly.

Angelov says the reactions are the same everywhere he plays it, in a theatre or outdoors, because the show touches people. Audiences laugh, cry, feel uncomfortable and recognise themselves, often on the same night.

Tickets are 600 denars per performance and are sold via karti.com.mk and mktickets.mk. Three October dates mean three chances for those who have missed it so far.
