Haaland: 100 non-penalty goals in 139 games

Erling Haaland scored twice in Manchester City's 3:2 win over Ipswich, becoming the fastest player in Premier League history to 100 non-penalty goals - he reached the mark in 139 games. The first was a header after half an hour, for 2:1, the second came in the second half, and a third, for a hat-trick, was ruled out for offside. The Norwegian has scored in every round since drawing a blank against Bournemouth on the opening day, and leads the scoring chart by eight goals, three more than João Pedro and Alexander Isak. He finished the match with a minor injury scare, but Enzo Maresca says there's no reason to panic. City have a perfect league record, Aston Villa are next - and the question is whether anyone can stop the Norwegian before spring.

Vinícius stays in the stands for "El Clásico"

The Spanish Football Federation's appeals committee upheld the four-match ban on Vinícius Júnior. Two games for the red card against Villarreal, received for pulling an opponent's hair, and two more for how he then approached the referee. Real will also appeal to the Administrative Court for Sport, but for now the Brazilian misses Sevilla, Racing Santander, Barcelona and Valencia - meaning the trip to the Camp Nou on 25 October too. Real have already thrashed Sevilla without him, with goals from Arda, Mbappé and Diomande, and Endrick is waiting for a chance. Hair-pulling is a playground move, and the whole club will pay for it in the most important match of the autumn. How many times does a star have to bury his own team before someone tells him "enough"?

Kane and Bayern until 2029 - for now, only on a handshake

Harry Kane, according to the British press, has reached a verbal agreement on a new three-year contract with Bayern Munich, until 2029, and the Germans are preparing the paperwork. The England captain is 33, has 50 goals this year and is among the main candidates for the Ballon d'Or. The media long linked him with Barcelona, but Kane is staying where his wife and four children have settled in so well that they're regularly spotted at Oktoberfest. He came from Tottenham in 2023 for around 100 million pounds and is in the final year of his first contract, with no sign he'll get a higher salary than the current 400,000 pounds a week. A verbal agreement in football is worth exactly as much as the ink not yet used - but if it's signed, Bayern have a goalscorer for three more seasons, and Barcelona will have to look elsewhere.

Shkëndija back on top, with a derby against Vardar next

Shkëndija beat Skopje 1:3 away in round 10 of the First League and returned to first place. The Tetovo side were two goals up within nine minutes: Endrit Krasniqi scored in the second minute and Bojan Dimoski, with his first goal in the club's shirt, in the ninth. Viktor Angelov pulled one back before the break, but Fabrice Tamba restored the two-goal lead with a header in the 52nd minute. Besart Ibraimi could have made it more, but put his penalty wide. Shkëndija now have 23 points, three more than Struga Trim Lum and Vardar, while the hosts are bottom of the table without a single win after ten rounds. Next up is the derby between Shkëndija and Vardar - a real test of whether the top spot is earned or borrowed.

Sileks finally win, and Eftimov scores one to remember

Sileks ended a bleak run of six games without a win and celebrated three points for the first time in more than two months - 0:3 at Bashkimi in Kumanovo. Šero opened the scoring in the 13th minute, and then came the moment of the round: in the 48th minute Kristijan Eftimov hit something from the left that looked more like a cross, and the ball ended up in the net behind the surprised goalkeeper. Bashkimi's goal in the 75th minute was ruled out after VAR intervened, and Mišov made it 0:3 in stoppage time. Sileks are sixth with 13 points, and Aleksandar Vasoski's side can breathe a little. Bashkimi, with just seven points, stay second from bottom - when the defence is asleep, even a cross becomes the goal of the season.
