Aries

Aries will book today the check-up they have been putting off since spring. Nothing hurts more than it did in March; they are simply tired of carrying that reminder around in their head. They will call at nine in the morning, get an appointment for Thursday, and the rest of Monday will feel lighter without them quite understanding why.

Taurus

Taurus will ask somebody today whether they are free on Friday. Directly, with no "if it suits you" and no backup plan if the answer is no. The answer will be yes, in two seconds, and Taurus will realise how long they postponed the question for the sake of those two seconds.

Gemini

Gemini will go to bed before midnight today. No "one more episode", no phone in bed just to check something. Tomorrow morning they will wake before the alarm and spend the first hour of Tuesday wondering what people do with all that time.

Cancer

Cancer will say in a meeting today something they have held back for three meetings. Briefly, with no preamble. Nobody will object, which will confuse them more than an objection would have - why wait three weeks for something that took thirty seconds?

Leo

Leo will let somebody else pay the bill today. They will not reach for their wallet, will not suggest splitting it, will not say "next time it's on me". It will feel strange all afternoon, as though they owe something. They do not - and that thought is exactly the one that will be new to them.

Virgo

Virgo should not correct somebody else's sentence today. Not the date somebody got wrong, not the street name, not the figure that is ten percent off the real one. The conversation will flow without them as judge, and by evening they will notice that people tell them more when their mistakes are not being counted.

Libra

Libra will decide something in five seconds today. Not a trifle - a matter for which they usually collect three opinions and one sleepless night. They will say the answer before remembering they were supposed to think it over, and it will be a good answer. The night they saved will be spent wondering whether it really was that simple.

Scorpio

Scorpio will ask their father something about his youth today. Not to check some old story - it will simply occur to them on the way home. They will hear something they did not know for thirty years, said in passing, as though everyone already knew. They will carry it with them longer than anything they hear at work this week.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius will stay in a conversation that has turned serious today, instead of steering it into a joke at the first difficult word. They will look at the person across the table and sit through ten seconds of silence without filling it. What follows the silence is a sentence the other side has held back longer than they assume - and it will be about them.

Capricorn

Capricorn will leave work exactly on time today. On a Monday, with no final check of the inbox and no one last task "so I don't leave it for tomorrow".

Aquarius

Aquarius will reread something they wrote five years ago today. A message, a text, a notebook forgotten in a drawer. They will expect to cringe and will not - which will surprise them more than the text itself. What will trouble them until evening is whether that person is still somewhere inside them or only lent them the handwriting.

Pisces

Pisces will buy the ticket today, on the same day they think up the trip. No three weeks of watching prices, no asking the opinion of four people who are not going. The date will be three weeks away. Of all the plans they have made this year, this will be the first that happens exactly as it was imagined.
