Aries

Aries will lose an argument on purpose today. They will see that the other side is more tied to the matter than they admit, and will pull back mid-sentence. They will get no thanks for it, and will not wait for any - by evening they will have forgotten there was an argument at all, which is the strangest part of the whole Wednesday.

Taurus

Taurus will realise today that they are wrong about something they claimed publicly. They will not announce it, but they will stop repeating it - quietly, from that moment on. For them that is a bigger move than an out-loud apology is for anyone else.

Gemini

Gemini will be asked today for a name they know and will not be able to produce it. They will chase it for half an hour, change the subject, come back to it. When it lands around seven in the evening, there will be nobody left to tell - and that is exactly what will annoy them, not the forgetting.

Cancer

Cancer will have a firmer opinion about money today than usual. They will state a price, state a deadline, and will not soften the figure with "we'll work something out". Wednesday will pass without them checking whether anyone took offence, and around ten in the evening they will miss that checking, like a habit that has reached its end.

Leo

Leo will learn today that somebody did something good without their involvement. The first thought will be petty and will last four seconds. The second will be to call and congratulate, and they will call - the distance between those two thoughts is all the work they have done on themselves this year.

Virgo

Virgo will find out today that the mistake was not theirs. They had been waiting for this for weeks, imagining how it would land, and when it comes they will feel nothing in particular. They will spend the afternoon wondering why justice weighs so little once it finally arrives.

Libra

Libra will be right about the timing today. They will say something will take longer than everyone estimates, nobody will listen, and on Wednesday afternoon they will all be sitting exactly where Libra said. They will not mention it once.

Scorpio

Scorpio will ask for help with something small today. Not a test, not a check on someone - they will genuinely need it and will not find a way around it. The person will help within three minutes, no questions, and it will leave Scorpio with not a single conclusion about them, which for Scorpio almost never happens.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius will read the contract to the end today. Small print, page two, the termination clause. They will find something they do not like and will ask about it out loud - a question that, in their usual style, eats at them at least six months later.

Capricorn

Capricorn will be calm today about something that cannot be solved. No plan, no steps, no second option held in the pocket. They will live with it all day like weather, and by evening will be surprised how little a day outside their control took out of them.

Aquarius

Aquarius will be listened to carefully today by someone they usually argue with. No interruptions, no counterargument already forming on the face. Halfway through, the thought will catch them that they themselves rarely listen like that, and they will finish the sentence faster than planned.

Pisces

Pisces will be angry at someone today and will tell them directly, on a Wednesday afternoon, without waiting for a better moment. It will be one sentence and it will be accurate. The other side will apologise within ten seconds, and Pisces will be left with the strange feeling of having waited three years for something that took less than one message.
