Lexington close out 2026 with a New Year's concert in the Blue Hall of Sava Centar in Belgrade on December 30, doors at 8pm. The Belgrade pop outfit that has been filling that same hall for years has also booked the last working night before the countdown.

The group formed in Belgrade in 2004 and released its first album in 2010 with City Records. The frontman is Bojan Vaskovic, a voice that is basically shorthand for their sound. The catalogue is full of songs the region sings without thinking about it: "Dobro da nije vece zlo", "Miris karmina", "U srce udaraj", "Prisla", "Potrazi me", "Dodji ove noci", "Godinama", "Donesi" and "Ti nevoljo moja".

What makes Lexington more interesting than the average pop band with hits is the size of the live audience. In 2017 they played Tasmajdan stadium in front of thirteen thousand people, and their run of Sava Centar shows has been stacking up date after date for years, with new nights opening as soon as the previous ones sell out. For a domestic pop band with no foreign label behind it, that is a different currency than streaming counts.

The Blue Hall at Sava Centar is smaller than the Great Hall, which means a tighter format than an arena, but still big enough for the full pop production with horns and accordion the band brings on stage. The date, December 30, sits exactly on the line between a concert night and a New Year's night.
