SDSM Asks: Where Are the Extradition Documents for Gruevski? Is Siljanovska Preparing a Pardon?

SDSM is reopening the question of Nikola Gruevski. "Has the Mickoski government prepared the extradition documents?" they ask, adding that the Ministry of Justice is dragging its feet.

More seriously: SDSM raises the question of whether President Siljanovska is preparing a "rescue and pardon scenario for Gruevski." A claim without evidence, but provocative enough in the Macedonian political context.

Gruevski has been in Budapest since 2018, after fleeing before serving a prison sentence. With Orban's fall and Magyar's arrival, the extradition question has gained a new dimension - Magyar has already announced he won't protect Orban's people. Whether that includes Gruevski is a question Budapest hasn't yet answered.

Mickoski is silent. Siljanovska is silent. And SDSM uses the question more as a political tool than a genuine demand for justice. Gruevski is a topic each side activates when convenient - and forgets when it's not.
