Albano Carrisi, known as Al Bano, comes to the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv on August 30, 2026. The concert is part of his major European tour, which marks more than 50 years of his career on the Italian pop scene.

Al Bano (born 1943 in Cellino San Marco, Italy) rose to fame in the late sixties and was one of the most successful Italian singers of the seventies and eighties. His duo with his wife Romina Power (1970-2000) delivered one of the most recognisable European pop sounds - with hits like Felicita (third place at Eurovision 1984), Sharazan, Tu Soltanto Tu and Liberta. His solo career took him to the top of Italian pop with songs like Nel Sole. With more than 60 studio albums and an estimated 25 million records sold worldwide, he is one of the most successful Italian singers of all time.

The setlist covers the biggest hits from his solo career and from the duo with Romina Power, with special instrumental arrangements.
